Owootoah Visiting Fresno State; Teammates Picking Up Offers

Cordia point guard Emmanuel Owootoah is still waiting on his first offer, but maybe there is a chance he picks one up this week.

Owootoah traveled to Fresno State for an official visit today. Head coach Rodney Terry traveled to Cordia High School to watch the 5'9" guard workout earlier in the season, so the visit is not a surprise.

The Canadian has received a lot of attention from high major schools as Bob Huggins, Orlando Antigua and assistants from both Seton Hall and UCLA have watched Owootoah this season.

Which ever college gets this quick point guard I am sure they will be thrilled the day he signs.

A couple of Owootoah's teammates are also getting some college interest.

Dondre Warren, a 6'6" forward, is receiving interest from several top NAIA programs. The University of Pikeville and Lindsey Wilson, two teams that finished in the Mid-South Conference Championship game, are both looking at the Lions big man. Union College has also offered.

Marlon King is probably going to the junior college route and Brevard Community College in Cocoa Beach, Florida and Manatee Community College top his list.

Congratulation on wherever these young men decide to further their education playing basketball.
