Madison Central Rolls to the 11th Region Championship

Madison Central was just too much for Lexington Catholic as the Indians rolled to a 67-46 win to win the 11th region championship.

The Indians used their athleticism to dominate the Knights, shooting over 44% for the game, as LexCath shot a frigid 29%.

Ken-Jah Bosley was the scoring star with 22 points on the night as he went on an 8-0 by himself in the 3rd quarter, which put away any thought of a Lexington Catholic comeback.

Kentucky Mr. Basketball candidate Dominique Hawkins, who was named the 11th region tournament most valuable player, finished with 18 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists.

Lexington Catholic was led by Jack Whitman's 16 points.

Madison Central will now face 12th region winner Wayne County in the 1st game of the Sweet 16 on Wednesday at 12pm.
