Johnson Central and Sheldon Clark Advance to 15th Region Final
Johnson Central and Sheldon Clark, both teams from the 57th district, are one game away from Rupp Arena after beating teams from Pike County in the East Kentucky Expo Center.
The Golden Eagles, led by Shane Hall's 17 points, used a couple of costly Pikeville turnovers to pull out a 61-57 victory.
Pikeville had a big night from seniors Ethan Rowe and Ray Kasongo, but foul trouble hampered both of them in the 2nd half. Rowe, who fouled out with around a minute left, finished with 21 points. Kasongo had 17 points, 13 rebound and 7 blocks.

Sheldon Clark had a big night from Chase Parsley as the Cardinals beat East Ridge 54-42.
Parsley had 30 points on 8-16 shooting, 3 for 6 from behind the arc, and made 11 of 14 from the free throw line. The point guard also grabbed 8 rebounds on the night.
Jacob Chaney led East Ridge with 13 points and Mike Fields had 12 in the losing effort.
The Cardinals built a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter and proceeded to let the air out of the ball with almost 4 minutes left in the game.
This is the first trip to the 15th region finals for Sheldon Clark since 1988, when they lost to eventual champion Phelps.
Sheldon Clark will face off with Johnson Central tonight at 8pm for the 15th region championship at the East Kentucky Expo Center.
