Pikeville Comes from Behind to Advance over East Ridge in All A

The Pikeville Panthers used a big third quarter from Ray Kasongo and an even bigger fourth quarter from Ethan Rowe to come from behind to beat the East Ridge Warriors 62-53 in the first round of the 15th region All A Classic

East Ridge, led by Johnny Miller's 13 points, had a commanding 36-23 lead going into the locker room at halftime and looked like they would move on to Sunday's second round.

Former Warrior Ray Kasongo had other plans.

The 6'8" Canadian, who received U-S-A chants throughout the game from East Ridge fans,  had 7 points in the 3rd quarter and had the Panthers within 2 points heading into the 4th.

That is when The Road to the Rupp Player of the Game Ethan Rowe took over. Rowe had a game high 21 points on 8-17 shooting, with 10 of those coming in the final frame.

The Warriors were led by Johnny Miller's 19 and Michael Fields chipped in with 11.

Kasongo tallied 15 points, 13 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 1 steal.
