Madison Central Cruises Past Conner, Hawkins Scores 2,000th Point

Madison Central rolled to a 23-8 lead in the first quarter and never looked back as they took care of Conner 66-51 this afternoon in Richmond.

Dominique Hawkins led Central with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals. The senior point guard, who became the program's all-time leading scorer last week, also scored his 2,000th career point in the final quarter.

Daniel Parke and Quan Taylor each added 12 points for the Indians. Ken-Jah Bosley chipped in 10 points and 4 assists. Hunter Stocker scored 8 points and pulled down 10 boards.

Conner's Sammuel Hemmerich led all scorers with 18 points. Drew Barker chipped in 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists.

Madison Central moved to 12-3 with the win while Conner dropped to 6-6 on the season.
